Zeller - Merlin

Word has been received here of the death of Merlin Zeller, 56, a Crawfordsville native, at Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Zeller had been ailing for several months with heart trouble. He succumbed at 8 a. m. Wednesday following major surgery at Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Zeller was born in Crawfordsville Feb 11, 1904 to Michael E. and Elizabeth Zeller. He was in construction work most of his life. He married the former Mabel Teague of Crawfordsville and in 1943 moved to Phoenix. Surviving are the widow; a son, Richard and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Hunt, all of Phoenix; a brother, Harold (Bud) Zeller; a half brother, James Harrington and a half-sister, Mrs. Kate Hultz all of Crawfordsville and several aunts, nieces and nephews. Funeral rites will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at the AL Moore Mortuary in Phoenix.
