New Ross - Roberta L. Zachary, 64, a Montgomery County native who lived on Rt 1, New Ross, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital, Crawforsville. She was a member of Parkersburg Christian Church and a graduate of Marshall HS. She was born Feb 15, 1910, daughter of Mirt and Melinia Strode Wilshired. She married Gareld Zachary Dec 18, 1930 at Ladoga. Surviving are the husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Ned Revell of Tallahassee, Florida, Mrs. Frank Ryan of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Charles Bradbury of Milwaukee, Wis; two sons, Jerome of Lafayette and Larry of Rantoul, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Gibson of Moore Haven, Fla; Mrs. Artia Belle Zachary of Bloomington and Mrs. Mabel Johnson of Rt 7, Crawfordsville; two brothers, Harry Wilshire of Indianapolis and George of Crown Point and 13 granedchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Wavveland with Rev. Loren Hetrick officfiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery at Waveland. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
