Lester M. Zachary, 62, of 706 Jennison Street died at 1 a.m. Thursday at his home. He had been in failing health since last November. Mr. Zachary was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church and had been employed by Wabash College until his health began failing. He attended school at Parkersburg. Born June 11, 1903 near Ladoga, he was a son of Walter and Elta Stewart. He was married in 1929 to Mary Duncan, who survives. Other survivors are a son, HOward of Crawforedsville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Amy Zachary of Crawfordsville; a brother, gerald of New Ross; a sister, Mrs. Mary Smith of Russellville and 3 grandchldren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. saturday at Powers Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Firends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 2 pm Friday.
