Mrs. LaRhonda Sybil Zachary, 58, of Crawfordsville passed away at 10:39 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, in the Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born July 30, 1955, in Kermit, Texas, to Cleston L. and Mildred (Earl) Jackson. She married Alan L. Zachary on June 13, 1981, at Crawfordsville. He survives. Mrs. Zachary was a phlebotomist at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health - Crawfordsville for the past four years and had previously worked as at nurse’s aide at Culver Hospital and was also a homemaker. She was a 1974 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; a member of the Harvest Fellowship Church, near New Market; had recently been certified as a hospice volunteer; did volunteer work for the Samaritan’s Purse organization; and was a chaplain for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In her free time she enjoyed doing photography work. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Sam) Keesee, Crawfordsville; her son, Nathan (Abigail) Zachary, Indianapolis; her sisters, Linda Williams, Friendswood, Texas, and Sharon (Dennis) Gourdon, Port Vincent, La.; and her grandchildren, Esther and John Keesee. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Randy; and her grandparents. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at The Harvest Fellowship Church, 1618 W. C.R. 500S, Crawfordsville. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, Highway 47 S. near New Market. Friends may call at the church on Friday, July 18 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials may be made to The Samaritan’s Purse, P.O.
