Harmon Alvin ZACHARY, 84, died Tuesday morning at 10:10 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ernest Crowe in Marshall. He had been in failing health for the past two years, seriously ill 3 months. Born May 8, 1868 near Waveland, the son of Hezekiah and Elizabeth Zachary. On Sept 1890 he married Cordelia Ann TAGUE in Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death in 1950. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Wesley George of Clinton; Mrs. Harry Forner of Montezuma and Mrs. Ernest Crowe at whose home he died; six grandchildren and 9 greats. Funeral services for Harmon Zachary were held Thursday at 2:30 o'clock in the Waveland Methodist Church of which he was a member in charge of Rev. Milo Hinckle, pastor of the Marhsall Federated Church, assisted by the Rev. JS White, pastor, assisting. Mrs. Lowell Spencer played the piano preceding the service. A duet consisting of his grandchildren sang two selections Beyond the Sunset and After accompanied by Mrs. Lee Zachary of Bloomingdale. Members of the duet were Curtis George and daughter, Marcella of Indianapolis. Flower bearers were Mrs. Alva Hunsicker; Mrs. Elby Emmert; Mrs. AG Swanay; Mrs. Ida Reiter; Mrs. Homer Robison; Mrs. TS Banta; Mrs. Thomas Durham; Mrs. Guy Durham; Mrs. William Shular; Mrs. Robert Moore; Mrs. Charles Hannah; Mrs. Charles Barr; Mrs. Fred Myers; Mrs. Charles Moore; Miss bertha Spencer and Mrs. William Machledt. Pall bearers were: Paul Perkins; Wallace, Harold and Eugene Tague; Arthur and Floyd Hann. He was laid to rest beside his wife in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
