Frank Allen ZACHARY, son of Cordelia and Harmon Zachary was born Dec 9, 1892 at Terre Haute, Indiana. While yet an infant, his parents moved to Waveland where he spent his youth. In 1917, he joined our armed forces to serve his country in WWI. On August 28, 1919, he was united in marriage to Rose Mary Grace at Crawfordsville, Indiana. To this union was born two daughters, one died in infancy; the other, Mrs. Bert Dodds, resides with her husband and three children at Coloma, Indiana. Frank was a member of the Roman Catholic Church at Montezuma; he was also a member of the Paul Taylor Post of the American Legion at Rockville. After a two months illness Frank passed away Oct 28, 1948 at Veteran's Hospital, Indianapolis. He is survived by his widow, daughter; his parents, one brother, Lee of Bloomingdale; 3 sisters, rms. Hazel George of Clinton, Mrs. Harry Forner of Montezuma, Mrs. Ernest Crowe of Marshall; several nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
