Yount - Mort

On Sunday morning about 8 o'clock Mort Yount suffered a paralytic stroke which left him speechless and paralyzed on the right side. He had been to one of the fire cisterns he had been digging in the E. side of town, to put out the lantern place to warn passerby and had come back downtown when the stroke came. He was carried to his home in Northside and at this time is but slightly improved.
