Lafayette YOUNG, the only child of AD & Editha A. Young, died at his residence in the vicinity of Ladoga, Wed morning, April 11, 1883 at 3 o'clock after a most severe and poignant sickness. He was a young man, not yet 36 years old and was an industrious and prosperous farmer a kind and affectionate husband and father. He died while yet indulging in the brightest hopes of a blooming manhood. For one to die like he, leaving a good and devoted wife, 3 intelligent and once happy children, is one of the saddest commentaries on our dying race. While we mourn in this night of deepest sorrow, let us indulge and the hope that he was entered upon a day of endless joy. = kbz
