John M. Young, 75, for many years a
resident of this city, died Friday morning in Indianapolois. Mr. Young was a
brother of Harrison Young, assistant chief of the local fire department. He was
a charter member of the Crawfordsville aerie of the Eagles lodge. The survivors
include the wife, Mrs. Nettie Young, a son, Lloyd Young; two grandchildren; and
brother, Harrison Young and a sister, Mrs. Lavanchia Wise of Miami, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at the Meyer & Obdon Funeral Home, 1509
Prospect Street, Indianapolis. Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial in the
Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral
