George Earl Young, 83, of 702 North Drive, died at 2:10 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. He retired after 45 years with the Sommer Metalcraft Corp. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church son f Singleton and Emma Shuey Young. He was married to Elsie Lucille ettis Dec 3, 1914. Survivors are a son, Maurice (Bringham) of Crawfordsville; a brother, harold of Roachdale; a grandson Larry of Ft. Lauderdale and a granddaughter Karen Polster of Miami. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - transcribed by kbz
