Mrs. Addie Young, 86, died at 8 a.m. Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Millard Rutledge, 1024 E. Chestnut St., where she had resided the past four years. She was born Aug. 27, 1882, in Scott County, Kentucky, a daughter of Harvey and Salina Muddiman Duncan. Her first marriage was to Julian Hall. On Oct. 27, 1906, she married Frank Young at Georgetown, Ky. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Amy Melland of Lexington, Ky., Mrs. Della Williams of Georgetown and Mrs. Rutledge; four sons, Grover C. Young of Crawfordsville, and William and Porter Young and Frank S. Hall, all of Georgetown; two brothers, Harry and Grover Duncan, both of Georgetown; a sister, Mrs. Emma Holland of Georgetown, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, two half brothers and a half sister. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home at Georgetown. Friends may call at Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville after 7 to 9:30 p.m. Monday.
