Jessie P. Young, 92,
of 201 W. College St., died Sunday morning in Culver Hospital. She was a member
of First Christian Church. Born Oct. 26, 1884, she was a daughter of Iasic and
Olivi Parrish Youart of Clarks Hill. She married Joseph M. Young on March 18,
1902, at Clarks Hill. Survivors are five sons, Eldo G. of Crawfordsville,
Charles W. of Largo, Fla., Clarence I. of Rushville, Fremont E of Brownsburg
and Paul K. of San Diego. Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Coons and Mrs.
Betty Jo Chapman, both of Brownsburg; and several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, in April of
1956; her son, Gene, in 1942; three sisters; and two brothers. Services will be
at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. John Glosser
officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the
