The Rev. Harold M. Wright, 74, of 1511 Big 4 Arch Road, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital after a lengthy illness. The Rev. Mr. Wright and his wife, Ama, founded the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Indianapolis, where he was pastor 14 years until retiring in 1973. He also commuted many years to Crawfordsville where he assisted his brother, the Rev. Lester Wright, established the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church here. He was a former employe of Uniroyal at Indianapolis. He was born in Linton April 4, 1902, the son of Lewis and Sarah Somner Wright. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. David (Virginia) Anderson of Crawfordsville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sam (Coralee) Cope and Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Gaulden, both of Indianapolis; a brother, Cecil of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mabel Hazen of Midland, Mich., and Elizabeth Brown of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Joe and David; and three step grandchildren, Gary, Terri and Jerry. He was preceded in death by four brothers, the Rev. Lester, Clarence, Murl and Charles, and two sisters, Ethel and Helen. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Apostolic Christian Church, 1532 Standish Ave., Indianapolis, with the Rev. Lester McGruder and the Rev. Robert Deckard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at Indianapolis. The body will lie in state 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today and on Sunday afternoon. – jlr
