WINGATE – Mrs. Ethel Mae Wray, 66, a resident of Wingate for about a year, died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday at the Williamsport Hospital. She had been a patient there about two weeks. She is survived by a brother in Chicago and a sister in Iowa. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Jean McCan, pastor of the Wingate United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery near Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr

Ethel Mae Wray 66 of Wingate, Ind. died at Community Hospital 7:20 p.m. Sunday, April 20, where she had been a patient since April 5. She had been in failing health the past two years.
She was born April 7, 1903 at Deerfield, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Iola Whitney Skrine. She had lived in the Chicago area until moving to New Market in 1954 and had lived in Wingate the past two years. Ste was married to James Brennon who preceded her in death in 1951. She married Fred Wray in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1961.
She is survived by one brother, Harry Skrine of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Mabel McCormick of Durant, Iowa.
Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday in DeSutter Chapel with Rev. Jean McCan of the Wingate United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. - jz
