Bernice Wray April 18, 1897 - Aug. 20, 1990 Bernice Wray, 93, a resident of Lane House Nursing Home, died at 7:25 a.m. today in the nursing home. A graduate of New Market High School, her memberships included the United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and Thursday Afternoon Literary Club, all at Darlington. She also was a member of the Montgomery County Red Cross and a life member of Darlington American Legion Auxiliary. She was born April 18, 1897, at New Market to Albert and Maggie G. Servies Seaman. On Aug. 11, 1920, she married Damon C. Wray. He died in July of 1952. Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Degitz of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Lyle and Lowell Seaman, both of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister are deceased. Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Burkhart Funeral Home Darlington Chapel with the Rev. Velma Keesling officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery North. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
