Hillsboro -- Mrs. Myrtle Work, 73, known throughout this community as "Catherine" Work died at her home northwest of Hillsboro at 3:45 o'clock Saturday morning after an illness of several weeks. Death was due to heart ailment. Born Jan 7, 1874 south of Covington, Mrs. Work was the daughter of Mancella Glover and Jane Taylor Glover. Her marriage to Clayton Work took place April 30, 1894. They spent the greater part of their married life on farms near Hillsboro in Fountain county. Mrs. Work was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church and Fern Chapter of OES. Besides the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Don Clarke of Mellott and son, Albert F. Work of Indianapolis survive. Three grandchildren who also survive are Mrs. Wanda Lashbrook, Mrs. Betty Harrell and Miss Janet Work all of Indianapolis. There are also three great grandchildren. Rev. Orville Miller, former pastor of Hillsboro Christian Church will have charge of the funeral service which will be conducted 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the residence 1 1/2 miles northwest of Hillsboro. Burial in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
