Veedersburg - Iven Raymond Wooten, 58, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday at his home, Rt 3, Veedersburg. He had been in ill health for the past year. Born Sept 21, 1907 at Paris, Ill, he was a son of Chalres and Delia Anderson Wooten. He was married to Iona Howard Nov 24, 1933. Mr. Wooten, a resident of the Veedersburg area the past 45 years and operated a grocery store and service station until he retired two years ago. Survivors include the widow, a son, Raymond of Kingman; a daughter, Delores carter of Veedersburg, a brother, John of Tarpon Springs, Fl; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Shoemaker of Marshall, Ill; Ms. Mary Potts of Ciciero, Ill and Mrs. Louis Tetrick of Indianapolis and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Seever Mortuary with Rev. Avery Lane officiaiting. Burial at Wesly Chapel Cemetery near Scotland, Ill. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 Wednesday.

Funeral services for Iven Raymond Wooten, age 58, a resident of Veedersburg Rt.3, who died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, at his home, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Sever Mortuary in Veedersburg. The Rev. Avery Lane officiated and burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Scottland, Ill. Mr. Wooten, who had been in ill health for the past year, was born Sept. 23, 1907, at Paris, Ill., the son of Charles and Della Anderson Wooten. He was married Nov. 24, 1933 to Iona Howard, who survives. He was a resident of the Veedersburg area the past 45 years and had operated a grocery store and service station until he retired two years ago. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Raymond of Kingman; one daughter, Deloris Carter of Veedersburg; one brother, John of Tarpon Springs, Fla., three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Shoemaker of Marshall, Ill., Mrs. Mary Potts of Cicero, Ill., and Mrs. Leota Tetrick of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
