Robert Charles 'Rob' Woodard, 30, Thorntown, died 6 p.m.
Friday from injuries suffered in an accident.
Mr. Woodard worked with his father at Woodard Trucking,
Thorntown, contracting and hauling steel in and around the Boone
County area. A life resident of Thorntown, his memberships
included New Brunswick Christian Church and Boone County
Horsemans Association. He was a 1993 Western Boone High School
graduate.
He was born Oct. 14, 1973, at Lebanon, to Clifford Charles and
Linda Kay Stoner Woodard. He married Susan Lynette Ranney on July
1, 2003 at Lebanon. She survives. He was formerly married to
Heather Miller.
Also surviving are his parents of Thorntown; four children,
Robert Charles Miller, Ashlyn Dawn Miller, Devin Wayne Miller and
Brooklyn Woodard, all of Lebanon; two stepchildren, Hailey N.
Twitty and Brett S. James; and five brothers, Randy, Pittsboro,
Steve and Ron, both of Lebanon, and Rick and Jeff, both of
Thorntown.
A son, Austin Dale Woodard, is deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m. Wednesday in Myers
Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, with the Rev.
Dennis Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery,
Lebanon. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in Myers Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to a trust fund established at Home
National Bank, Thorntown, for the Rob Woodard Children's
Fund.
