Mrs. Dana WOODARD and her daughter, Lorene ALKIRE, were both killed on Monday night when their car sideswiped a truck near Lyford on No. 41. Mrs. Woodard's brother-in-law, Will Alkire, lived in Waveland at one time, and while here, his brother, Mrs. Woodard's first husband, committed suicide.
