KINGMAN, Ind. (CNS) – Fred R. Witsman, 62, of Kingman Route 2, died at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday (March 6, 1974) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. He had been a patient for four weeks. Born July 9, 1911, he was the son of John F. and Leatha Swim Witsman. On April 30, 1936, he married Margaret Armorer, who survives. Mr. Witsman was retired from General Motors Corporation at Danville. He attended the Baptist Church at Lodi. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon at home; a son, Donald of Covington; his father of Frankfort; five brothers, Don of Bunker Hill, John of Lebanon, Forest of Zionsville, Rudy of Riverside, Ill., and Jim of Frankfort; four sisters, Mrs. Albert (Leota) Storms of Romney, Mrs. Dennis (Isabelle) Cantwell and Mrs. John (Betty) Huddleston, both of Frankfort, and Mrs. Max (Barb) Cochran of Forrest; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Waterman Baptist Church at Lodi, with the Rev. Mark Demming officiating. Burial will be in Silver Island Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 today and until noon Friday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. -– jlr
