NEW RICHMOND – Mrs. Hazel M.
Wilson, 74, of New Richmond, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in Home Hospital, Lafayette,
where she had been a patient two weeks. She had lived here the past 19 years.
Prior to that she resided in the Clarks Hill area. She was a member of the
Clarks Hill Christian Church and the Ladies Aid Society there. She was a native
of White County, Indiana, born Dec. 26, 1892, a daughter of Dorsey and Delilah
Jagger. She married Ruel Wilson March 19, 1914 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Surviving along with Mr. Wilson are a son, Harold of Stockwell; a daughter,
Mrs. Delilah Skinner of Rt. 6 Lafayette; two sisters. Mrs. Nellie Hively and
Mrs. Elizabeth Jackson, both of Columbia City, Ind., and Ray, Columbia City,
Ind., Charles Jagger, who resides in California, Fred Jagger of Silver Lake,
Ind., and Ray, John, Grover and Harry Jagger, all of Columbia City; eight
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10
a.m. Wednesday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Stockwell with Rev. Norman Weaver
officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Friends
may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr
