Thomas Edward, son of Charles and Mary Wilson was born in Waveland Feb 1, 1913 and died Jan 10, 1914, aged 11 months and 10 days. Although only an infant, he bore his great suffering with patience that was most inspiring to behold. This causes one to ask why should a little one suffer so much pain by God sees best and does that which is best. We weep over his departure but rejoice that God has taken another of the kingdome of heaven unto himself. He leaves a father, mother, six sisters an aged grandmother and a number of other relatives to mourn his departure. He will be missed by them, but it will be a consolation to know that he stands at Heaven's portals with his two brothers and two sisters who like himself were called in infancy, and sweetly beckons for them. A host of friends and relatives sympathize and weep with those bereft, breathing a prayer for their comfort. May God in his infinite love and mercy administer administer the balm for aching hearts that the world can not, and draw them to himself. A short funeral service was held at the house on Monday afternoon at two, conducted by Rev. JG Brengel. Those present from a distance were: Mrs. Mort Spencer and Mrs. Taylor Carrington of Russellville; Warner Wilson and John Hickman of Mecca; and George Hickman of Rockville. - typed by kbz
