Wilson - Kenneth Carlton

Kenneth Carlton Wilson, owner of Wilson Accounting Co., died Saturday at his home at 707 Elm St., after a short illness. He was born June 30, 1897, at Brazil the son of Lawrence and Dora Scott Wilson. He was married to Maggie Englehart. Mr. Wilson came to Crawfordsville in 1945 and was connected with the U.S. Internal Revenue Department. He opened his own business in 1949 as a public accountant and was a member of the Board of American Security Co. He was a member of the Elks Lodge at Crawfordsville and of the Brazil Methodist Church. He is survived by the widow, a son, Juan of Crawfordsville, three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Mills, of Pacific Grove, Calif. Mrs. Dorothy Elwell of Orange, Calif. and Mrs. William Nelson of Ironton, Ohio, a granddaughter and a grandson. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Larry. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home here. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville. The Perkins Funeral Home of Roachdale will be in charge of the services. – jlr
