Wilson - Gladys Sayers

Mrs. Gladys Wilson, 82, who along with her husband owned and operated a farm in the Wingate community all their married lives, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1977 in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been a resident of Lane House Nursing Home since October. She was a member of Wingate United Methodist Church and WSCS. Born April 27, 1895, near Odell, she was a daughter of William C. and Lou Davis Sayers. She was married March 8, 1917 to Edgar E. Wilson who survives. Other survivors are a son, Donald Kenneth of Wingate; two daughters, Mrs. David (Ruth Irene) Ritchie and Mrs. Willis (Mary Jane) Surface both of Wingate; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services Saturday in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate with the Rev. Lou Snyder officiating. – jlr
