Flora Ann Wilson, a former resident of Crawfordsville, died this morning in Culver Hospital. She resided at Wesley Manor in Frankfort. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements are incomplete at Hunt and Son Funeral Home.

Flora Ann Wilson, 78, died Thursday morning in Wesley Manor at Frankfort. She was a former Crawforsville resident. Miss Wilson began her teaching career at Crawfordsville in 1935. She received her elementary and master's degrees in education from Indiana State University. She was a classroom teacher and elementary principal in Montgomery and Tippecanoe counties. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and elected to the Pi Lambda Theta education honorary society at Indiana University. She was state treasurer of Delta Kappa Gamma 1955-1969. Born Feb. 9, 1900, in Tippecanoe County, she was a daughter of John E. and Leah Hannah Wilson. She was a graduate of Newtown High School. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Little and the Rev. Walton Cole will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Manor.
