Cedric H. Wilson, 56, linotype operator for the Journal-Review for 31 years died at 8 a.m. Thursday at the home of a sister, Mrs. George Barker in Waynetown. He had been ill since last December. He attended school in Waynetown and was graduated from high school there in 1928. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Elks Lodge in Crawfordsville and First Christian Church. The survivors include one son, Thomas Wilson of Los Angeles; a brother, Ray Wilson of Crawfordsville; 4 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Jones, Mrs Lola Thompson, Mrs. Sarada Harlan and Mrs. Hollis Barker, all of Waynetown, and a nubmer of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday. The son, Thomas, had visited his father over the weekend and is en route to his home in Los Angeles. Mr. Wilson started work at theJournal-Review on April 19, 1935 and was employed on the paper continuously until the time of his illness. He returned to work for a few days last spring but was forced to quit again. Born July 25, 1909 in Wayne Tpw, he was the son of Thomas and Minnie Phillips Wilson.
