Albert Earl Wilson, 38 of Waynetown died at 5 a.m. Tuesday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton of injuries received when he was crushed by the front wheels of a road grader.  Mr. Wilson was operating a road grader Monday afternoon between Bellmore and Rockville when it hit a rock in the roadway and threw Wilson under the front wheels. His chest was crushed under the front wheels but he was conscious enough to roll over to avoid being crushed by the rear wheels. He was taken to the hospital at Clinton. He was an employee of the Fine & Carver Road Contracting Company of Waynetown.  Mr. Wilson was born Aug 18, 1915 at Hillsboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wilson. He graduated from the Hillsboro HS and was married to Mabel Rose Beck of near Hillsboro July 23, 1936. They spent all their married life in Waynetown. Active in church and civic affairs, Mr. Wilson was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and was serving as deacon. He was also a member of the Waynetown Masonic Lodge and Waynetown Post of American Legion. He served in the Navy during WWII.  Surviving are the wife; three sons, Robert 16, Donald 15, Larry 12; his parents now residing at Veedersburg; two brothers, Edgar of Crawfordsville; Lloyd of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. James McCutcheon and Mrs. Lloyd Bilsland both of Veedersburg. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Grenard & Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – kbz
