Agee Wilson, 88, watchmaker and jeweler, died Thursday morning at the Indiana Masonic Home at Franklin. He was born Nov. 2, 1877, a son of James H. and Louisa Jane Wilson of Danville, Ind. Mr. Wilson entered the jewelry business at the age of 16 as an apprentice watchmaker. He followed this vocation all of his life. During his business career he owned and operated jewelry stores for several years in Plainfield and Danville, Ind. Coming to Crawfordsville in 1920, he was associated with the M. C. Klein & Son Jewelry Store. Since 1922 he followed the jewelry business on a limited basis as a watchmaker. He is survived by three sons, Dr. Caster F. Wilson of Crawfordsville, Dr. Norwood A. Wilson of Tupelo, Miss., and Dr. O. Loren Wilson of Birmingham, Ala.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Pike of Los Angeles and Mrs. Minnie Hawley of Danville, Ind. The funeral rites will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge No. 50 of which he was a member of the various bodies including Knights Templar. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday. The family prefers no flowers be sent. Funeral services will be held at Bright Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.

Franklin - Agee Wilson, 88, a resident of the Masonic Home for just under a year, died early this morning at the hospital of the home. Born Nov 2, 1877 at Fincastle County, Tennessee he was the son of James H. and Ann Lynch Wilson. He was married in 1903 to June Beck. He attended Danville Public Schools and was a member of the Knights Templar and Council. Surviving are three sons, Caster, Crawfordsville; Norwood, Mississippi and Loren, Alabama. Funeral services are pending at Bright Funeral Home at Crawfordsville and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery there. He entered the Masonic Home in Sept 1965 through Montgomery Lodge 50, Crawfordsville.
