VEEDERSBURG – Paul M. Willis, 54, of Rt. 2, a retired employe of Fountain County Highway Department, died at 4:15 a.m. today in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health two years. Mr. Willis was a veteran of World War II Army Air Corps. He was a member of Crawfordsville American Legion and Fountain County Farm Bureau. He attended schools in Jackson Township in Tippecanoe County. Born April 21, 1921, at West Point, he was a son of Thomas R. and Hazel Kotchell Willis. He was married to Marie Stockdale on Sept. 12, 1942, at Veedersburg. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Cindy) Overfelt of Crawfordsville; a son, Charles Ray of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Wanita of Des Moines, Iowa; three half-brothers, Thomas R. and Homer of Crawfordsville and Keith with the Air Force in Texas; a half-sister, Martha Willis of Waynetown; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Crumley & Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. – jlr

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) – Paul M. Willis, 54, of Veedersburg Route 2, died at 4:15 a.m. today (Dec. 31, 1975) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health two years and a patient a few hours. Born April 21, 1921, in West Point, Ind., he was the son of Thomas R. and Hazel Kochell Willis. He was married Sept. 12, 1942, at Veedersburg to Marie Stockdale who survives. Mr. Willis retired from the Fountain County Highway Department. He had attended Jackson Township schools in Tippecanoe County and was a veteran of service in the Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Crawfordsville American Legion Post and Fountain County Farm Bureau. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Cindy) Overfelt of Crawfordsville; a son, Charles R. of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Waneta of Des Moines, Iowa; three half brothers, Thomas R.
