Thomas W. Wilson, who has been an invalid for a long time, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emmett Perkins at half past 8 on Wed. morning. Fun. serv. at the Christian Church on Friday (this) morning at 11 o'clock will be in charge of Rev. JC Burkhart, of Crawfordsville. Interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery - -transcribed by kbz

Thomas W. Wilson youngest of 7 children of Susannah and William Wilson, one of the pioneer preachers, known as Uncle billie or "the blind preacher," was born March 31, 1848 and died March 16, 1921 had he lived until the 31st of March he would have been 73 years old. He united with the Christian Church at the age of 16. He was marr. Dec 18, 1878 to America G. Carrington. he is survived by his wife and 3 daughters: Mrs. Emmett Perkins and Mrs. Raymond Sharpe of this place and Mrs. Charles A. Spencer of Crawfordsville, 4 grandchildren; one granddau, Thelma Spencer, departed this life last May; also 3 sisters and two brothers; one brother passed away one year ago. Fun. serv. were held at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. JC Burkhart assisted by Rev. Henry Bell. Those from a distance were: Rev.
