Waynetown, March 11 – William H. (Dick) Williams, 69, a farmer fives miles east of Waynetown died at 9:35 p.m. Monday at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville of injuries suffered in an automobile collision on East Main Street in Crawfordsville last Dec 2. He suffered a fractured left leg, compound fracture of the right arm and severe head lacerations. The injured arm was amputated the day following the accident. The other car in the crash was driven by Paul Oilar of Veedersburg who was convicted of drunken driving and sentenced to the state farm. Mrs. Williams, 66 also injured in the crash is at Crawfordsville at the home of a niece, Mrs. Stanley Jones. Born in Pulaski County, Kentucky Mr. Williams was married Feb 1, 1903 three miles east of Waynetown, his surviving widow being the former Nettie Heath. He belonged to Liberty Christian Church and besides his widow is survived by a brother and two sisters,. Charles Williams, Champaign, Ill; Mrs. Lizzie Smith of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Achsa Jackson, Darlington. The body was sent to Waynetown – kbz
