Mrs. Mae Wasson Williams, 82, died, at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at Carmen Nursing Home here. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Gleaners Class, Women's Fellowship, Women's Relief Corps, DAR, Eastern Star and the Highland Social Club. A Montgomery County native, she was born May 4, 1882, to Robert and Sara (Welch) Williams. Her first marriage was to Ira W. Wasson, who died in 1941. She later married Guy Williams. He died in 1965. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lela W. Allman of Crawfordsville; a brother, Arthur Lookabill of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren, Mrs. Sue Powell of Glenelen, Ill., and Wallace Allman of Kirkwood, Mo., and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home here with Rev. Paul Million officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home.
