ROCKVILLE – Lenore A. Williams, 81, of Miami, Fla., and formerly of Parke County, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday in Doctors Hospital, Coral Gables, Fla. Mrs. Williams, a retired school teacher, was a member of Dade County retired teachers and a member of First United Methodist Church of Miami. She attended Bloomingdale Academy and received her master’s degree from Florida State University. Born in Parke County July 7, 1897, she was a daughter of John and Ruth Osborn Williams. She was married to Carl Williams. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Merrill D. of Miami; a brother Edgar L. Williams of Morton, Kan.; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Laidig of Oberlin, Kan. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Alvin L. Wilson officiating. Friends may call at Butler Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Sunday. –jlr
