Williams - John - 1900 - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Again God in his infinite wisdom has seen fit to take from this world of sorrow and suffering one who was very dear to us, John Williams. He was born in Kentucky and was a member of the Baptist Church there and was a good and faithful member. He was 47 years, 11 months, and a few days of age. He passed away Saturday evening Aug. 11, at 4 o’clock, from that dreadful disease, dropsy. His suffering was very severe but he was very patient and there was not a murmur from him. He leaves two sisters and five brothers besides a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church here Sunday evening at 2 o’clock, by Rev. Lizton. Interment was at the Indian Creek Cemetery. -s
