Mrs. Ethel Williams, 72, died Early Sunday morning in Culver Hospital, where she had been a patient the past week. Mrs. Williams, a resident of Montgomery County 41 years, was born in Attica June 27, 1895, to Oliver and Rosa (Rogers) Stevens. Her marriage to Montie Williams was on Sept. 6, 1912, in Marshfield, Ind. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marvin E. Cox and Mrs. Harold Cope, both of Crawfordsville; two sons, Donald of Crawfordsville and James of Indianapolis; a brother, Herman Stevens of New Market; a sister, Mrs. Belle Briggs of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 14, 1964, and a grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. Don Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
