Mrs. Emma Wilkinson, 83, resident of Crawfordsville for the past 20 years, died at 9 o'clock Monday night at her home, 1107 W. Main Street. She had been in declining health about six years and had been seriously ill with a complication of diseases for three days. Mrs. Wilkinson was born April 7, 1854 in Fountain County, the daughter of Nickolas and Mary Kashner Thompson. She was married to Decatur Wilkinson Jan 20, 1875. The deceased was a member of the Crawfordsville Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence C. Dodds, a son, Fred Wilkinson, both of this city; a sister, Mrs. Hiram Parker of Clark's Hill; five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the First Christian Church here in charge of Rev. Paul Million. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
