Wilhite - Isaac Simeon

Isaac Simeon Wilhite died from complication due to advanced age in his home on West College Street. He was born June 23, 1835 to WIlliam and Mary MIller Wilhite. A life long resident of this county, learning the trade of carpentry early on and also running a grocery business on the corner of Washington & Pike St 1872-74. He also held jobs as a foreman at the Lochart MIll, the Marks & Cahoon Mill and the Dovetail Buggy Company. He belonged to the Crawfordsville Lodge IOOF #223 and a member of Bethesda Encampment The body will be put to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery with services by IOOF brothers. - kbz
