Wallace, Ind -- Ed WILDMAN, 79, died of a heart ailment at 11:30 a.m. Monday July 15, 1957 at his home here. He had been in ill health 18 months. Born Sept 3, 1877 at Springfield, Illinois, he was a son of T. P. and Elizabeth Shumkwiler Wildman. He was married Dec 2, 1900 to Bertha Keeling who preceded him in death. He married Arilla Sample Dec 23, 1925 at Rockville. He was a member of the Atwood, Ill Baptist Church, Wallace Masonic Lodge 495 and Wallace Order of Easter Star 415. He had farmed in the Wallace area several years and managed a slaughter house here for a number of years. Surviving are a son, James of Montezuma; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mabel Zackmire of Wallace and Mrs. Evelyn Crane of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The body is at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown where friends may call fter 10 a.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the Lutheran Church in Wallace at 1 p.m Wednesday for services at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Sevies officiating. Burial in Old Lutheran Cemetery.
