Mellott - Thomas L. Wiggins, who had been in failing health for several years died Tuesday morning at his home here. He was 92 years old. He was born May 4, 1873 near Oxford and was married near Mellott Oct 5, 1902, to Fnanie Archer. The couple lived at Lafayette, New Richmond and near Mellott before moving to the present home. He was a member of the New Antioch Christian Church and was the only 50-year member of the Mellott Improved Order of Redmen Lodge when it disbanded in 1957. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Fault of near Mellott and Mrs. Russell Coffman of Mellott; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildre. A son preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Servies Funeral Home.

Mellott - The 92nd birthday of Thomas L. Wiggins was celebrated in his home with a dinner. Others present were his wife and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fauth, Mrs. Russell Coffman and Tressie Miles of the Mellott community and Richard Lewsader of Covington.

MELLOTT — One of Mellott's oldest citizens, Thomas L. Wiggins, died in his home here at 7 a.m. Tuesday at the age of 92. He had been in failing health several years and his condition grew serious on Sunday. Born near Oxford, he was a retired farmer and had lived in the Mellott community 62 years. He was married to Fannie Archer in 1902 after which they lived for a short time at Lafayette and New Richmond and moved to a farm near Mellott in 1903. They lived there until he retired and they moved to Mellott in 1942. Mr. Wiggins was a member of the New Antioch Christian Church of Mellott and was the only 50-year member of the Mellott Red Men's Order when it disbanded in 1957. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Fauth of near Mellott and Mrs. Russell Coffman of Mellott. --typed by Walt W

MELLOTT — Funeral services for Thomas L. Wiggins, age 92, who died Tuesday, Sept. 7, were held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Richard Lewsader officiated and burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Mr. Wiggins, who had been in failing health for several years, was born May 4, 1873, near Oxford, the son of Thomas A. and Hannah Ridgley Wiggins. He was married Oct. 5, 1902 to Fannie Archer, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Archer, near Mellott, and she survives. They had resided in Lafayette and New Richmond, moving to a farm near Mellott in 1903. He retired in 1942 and moved into Mellott. He was the only 50-year member of the Mellott Improved Order of Redmen Lodge and a member of the Mellott-New Antioch Christian Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Lenora) Fauph and Mrs. Russell (Irene) Coffman, both of the Mellott community; six grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children. --typed by Walt W
