Whitlock, John Edward - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

DAYTON, April 26- John Edward Whitlock, 57, died at 10 am today at his home three miles southeast of Dayton. He had been ill for the past two months.

Born Kentucky, he was married to Mary Martin in 1904. Surviving, besides the wife, are the following children: Madge and Josephine, at home; Mrs. Stella Strader, Lafayette route 5; Mrs. Wetha Fink, Attica; Mrs.Marie Gaskill, Hammond; Carl, route 6, and Chester and Richard, at home; two brothers: Thomas, Dayton and Benjamin, Heath, and a sister, Mrs. Lula Atwell, Mulberry.

The body was brought to the Baker funeral home, where friends may call after 4 pm Monday. Services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday at 2 pm, Rev. T. F. Williams officiating; burial in Dayton cemetery. – thanks to Lena
