Mrs. Elizabeth Whitecotton, age 92, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday Dec 28 at the home of a son John in Waveland. She was born Aug 30, 1873 at Advance to John and Mrs. Jane Russell Plunkett. She married William F. Whitecotton Aug 5, 1894 at Advance. She was a member of the freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Fred and John both of Waveland; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Gilbert of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Myrtle Priebe of near Freedom and Mrs. Mary Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Freedom Baptist Church, Rev. David Canine and Lowell Mitchell officiated. Burial was in Freedom Cemetery - kbz
