Gordon S. White, 82, Crawfordsville, formerly of Indianapolis, died Saturday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. White owned a fishing resort in Arkansas for 38 years and had worked part time as a cab driver in Indianapolis for 20 years. He served in the Army during WWII. He was born July 7, 1917 at Waynetown to Algar F. and Mary C. White. He married Marian C. Neal in 1945. She died July 1998. A friend, Brian Pedro of Ladoga survives. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The body will be cremated. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is handling arrangements. - contributed
