White - Elias

Yesterday Elias C. White died at his home in Lafayette at the age of 72. He was the father of Mrs. Joe Taylor of this city. He came to Lafayette in 1844 and since that time has been one of its influential citizens. He was at one time County Commissioner. He leaves considerable of a fortune. -s
