Albert R. "Bill" White, 48, of 809 Spann Ave., was pronounced dead on arrival at Culver Hospital Saturday morning. He was rushed to the hospital by Shipley's Ambulance Service after being suddenly stricken at his home. Mr. White was a cost accountant at Mid-States Steel & Wire Co., where he had been employed since 1942. He was born July 18, 1921, the son of Ivan and Lelah Ridlen White at Raccoon. On Aug. 22, 1942, he married Betty McQueen. Mr. White was a member of the First Christian Church and the Foreman Club at Mid-States. He graduated from New Market High School. Surviving are the widow; the parents of Parkersburg two daughters, Mrs. Rita Smith of North Kingston, R.I., and Rebecca Jane White, a student at Indiana University; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Cash of New Market and Mrs. Joan Thompson of Crawfordsville and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ray Britton at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Powers Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday
