New Market - Funeral services for William WHITTAKER, who was fatally injured in a railroad accident here
Monday afternoon were held from the ME Church Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in charge of Rev. Cornelius AIRHART of Crawfordsville. The grade and high school students witht he exception of the first four grades and the faculty attended the services in a body. The church would not accomodate the friends
who came to pay their respects to the deceased. Sarah Young; Ernest Young; Russell Armantrout and Geneva Wilson sang Some Happy Day, God Will Take Care of You and the pall bearers were members of the Modern Woodmen of which the deceased was a member: John Wilson; Arthur Mullen; George Browning; Ephie Gooding; Elmer Rice; and Wesley Wright. The flower girls were Lucille Smith; Pauline Galey; Helen Rusk; Louise Gohl; Mary Julia Asher; Helen Eubank; Minnie Sayler Lucille Carroll; Iva Pulliam, members of the freshman class.
