Services for Ora R. Westfall, 73, are at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with the Rev. Stephen Malone officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. Mr. Westfall died Tuesday morning in Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Ill. Mr. Westfall was a retired supply superviser of Cay Hall at Purdue University, having retired in 1974. He was a member of Mercer Masonic Lodge 633 of Wingate and Waynetown Baptist Church. He was graduated from Wingate High School in 1925 and attended Indiana Business College at Lafayette. He was a resident of Wingate before moving to Williamsport 17 years ago. Born Aug. 14, 1906, near Waynetown, he was a son of George “Jack” and Clara Gardner Westfall. He was married in 1963 to Christena Bell, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Senior Master Sgt. Robert Westfall of Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. R. J. (Jean) Rogers of Madison and Mrs. Howard (Betty) Lasley of Attica; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Don (Anita) Bell of Dana and Mrs. James (Linda) May of Williamsport; two brothers, Clarence and Marion Westfall of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Nila Abbey of Waynetown; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; a niece; and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie, and a sister, JoAnna Lewellen. – jlr
