Wellman - Walter Gordon

Walter Gordon, the six-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Will E. Wellman of Shawnee Mound, died shortly after 6 o’clock last Thursday evening at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. O. Julian, 1011 Union street, Lafayette. The child had been sick from birth and was taken from the Shawnee Mound home to Lafayette a few days prior to its death. The parents have the sympathy of a wide host of friends in their bereavement. The funeral was held from the Julian residence at 11 o’clock Friday morning, conducted by Rev. Geo. W. Switzer. The interment was made in the Wheeler Grove cemetery.
