Roy Weir, 84, a retired farmer who lived at 1406 Meridian Street here died Thursday evening (Aug. 28) in his home. He was an Army Veteran of WWI and member of the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge. Mr. Weir was born Sept 7, 1890 in Montgomery County, son of Robert and Elizabeth Keller Weir. He was married to Della Anglin. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Janet) Kendricks of Crawfordsville; a brother, Arlie of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Aldred of Vevay. Mrs. Mabel Grimes of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bertha Shumate of Ohio; two grandchildren and a step grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. DickB aker officiating. Burial in Weir Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. - kbz
