Mary Catherine Wedding, 93, Franklin, died Saturday in Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin, Ind. Mrs. Wedding was a surgical registered nurse from 1933-1939 at Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville, and from 1959-1976 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Franklin. Her memberships included First Presbyterian Church, Franklin, Presbyterian Women and the Dorcas-Miriam Circle, Franklin Business and Professional Women, Franklin Home Economics Club, Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild, Athens Chapter of Eastern Star, Crawfordsville, and the B.S. Chapter of P.E.O., Franklin Symphony Unit and Senior Citizens Club. She was a 1929 Bowers High School, Montgomery County, graduate, a 1932 graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 15, 1910, in Montgomery County, to Lyman and Coral Peters Reese. She married Robert James Wedding on June 7, 1937. He died in 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Wedding, Franklin, and Jane Seybolt, Duluth, Minn; two grandsons; and three great-grandsons. Funeral services are scheduled 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, Franklin, with the Rev. Peter Jessen officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, Franklin, and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday in the church. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Mary Catherine (Reese) Wedding, 93, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 at Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born Sept. 15, 1910 in Montgomery County. Her parents were Lyman and Coral (Peters) Reese. She married Robert James Wedding on June 7, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1986. survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Wedding of Franklin and Jane Seybolt of Duluth, Minn.; two grandsons; and three great grandsons. She graduated from Bowers High School in Montgomery County in 1929 and from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis in 1932. She was employed as a surgical registered nurse at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville from 1933 to 1939 and at Johnson Memorial Hospital from 1959 to 1976. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, where she was active in Prebyterian Women and the Dorcas Miriam Circle. She was also a member of Franklin Business and Professional Women, Franklin Home Economics Club, Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild, Athens Chapter of Eastern Star in Crawfordsville, the B.S. Chapter of P.E.O., Franklin Symphony Unit and Senior Citizens Club. The Rev. Peter Jessen will conduct a service at 2:30 p.m Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. Firends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, 951 N. Main St. in Franklin, and from 1:30 pm. until time of service Thursday at the church.
