Homer Wallace Weaver, 84 of Waveland died at Culver Hospital at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday afternoon being seriously ill 2 weeks. He lived in Parke, Montgomery and Vermillion Co. most of his life he was born 24 August 1877 in Fountain County, the son of William and Loretta Morgan Weaver. In 1912, he married Bonnie Durham who preceded him in death. Survivors include 3 daughters: Mrs. Roy Hartle of Veedersburg; Mrs. Charles Priebe of Ladoga and M4s. Dale Gray of Crawfordsville; 5 sons, Robert of Lafayette; Charles of Rockville; John of Waveland; Milford of Danville and Max of Crawfordsville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Roy Sowers of Marshall; Mrs. Lester Powell and Mrs. Harold Ingersoll, both of Crawfordsville; 23 grandchidren and 4 great grandchildren. - kbz
Waveland – Homer Wallace Weaver, 77 (sic - big diff from above) of Waveland, died Tuesday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville after an illness of two weeks. He was retired and had last week worked as a groundskeeper in Shades State Park. He lived in Parke, Montgomery and Vermillion counties most of his life and in Waveland the past several years. He was a native of Fountain County and was married in 1912 to Bonnie Durham who preceded him in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy Hartle of Veedersburg, Mrs. Charles Priebe of Ladoga and Mrs. Dale Gray of Crawfordsville; five sons, Robert of Lafayette; Charles of Rockville; John of Waveland; Milford of Danville and Max of Crawfordsville and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Sowers of Marshall and Mrs. Lester Powell and Mrs. Harold Ingersoll, both of Crawfordsville.
